I'm a full stack JavaScript web developer with a proven track record of teamwork as both a teammate and team lead. I prefer to build sturdy projects on top of known quantities, but with an eye towards flexibility for whatever may come next.

Skills
I'm fluent in ES6+, React, Redux, Node, Express, Knex, and PostgreSQL with some experience building Django and Flask backends in Python 3. I can also whip up websites in semantic HTML with styling via any of CSS, LESS, or SCSS.

cloudstands-backend
- Built using Node, Express, Knex, and PostgreSQL
- Provides an online portal to find, manage, and rent space at farmer's markets and flea markets across the US
- Created the website over eight weeks as part of a team of seven full stack engineers and one UX engineer
- Took lead on the project's back end, implementing Passport OAuth authentication for Google, Facebook, and Square; designing custom Express middleware; and implementing fuzzy search with PostgreSQL trigrams

- Built using React, Redux, Axios, and Material UI
- Provides an online portal to find, manage, and rent space at farmer's markets and flea markets across the US
- Created the website over eight weeks as part of a team of seven full stack engineers and one UX engineer
- Worked closely with front end lead to ensure that Axios calls were returning with properly formatted data that was being appropriately added to and retrieved from the Redux store
review-it-yourself-backend
- Built using Node, Express, Knex, and PostgreSQL
- A community for do-it-yourselfers, allowing them to create and rate DIY articles with step-by-step instructions
- Created the site and an iOS app over five weeks as part of a team of four full stack engineers, one iOS developer, and one UX engineer
- Took lead on the project's back end, designing the database schema, mapping out API routes, and configuring database transactions
picasso-frontend
- Built using React, Redux, Axios, and Reactstrap
- Transform an uploaded image into the style of Pablo Picasso
- Created the site from scratch over three-and-a-half days as part of a team of three full stack developers and three data scientists
- Solely responsible for the front end, allowing users to upload a picture, choose their preferred style, and receive the resulting image at a shareable URL
